1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RepoLocker, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
RepoLocker provides local folder encryption tools and cloud vaulting services. Our software uses AES-256-GCM encryption to secure your data.
3. User Responsibilities
A. Encryption Passwords
WARNING: RepoLocker is a Zero-Knowledge service. We do not store your master passwords or encryption keys in plain text. If you lose your password, we CANNOT recover your data. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your passwords.
B. Lawful Use
You agree not to use RepoLocker for any illegal purposes or to store data that violates any local, state, or international laws.
4. Intellectual Property
The RepoLocker name, logo, and source code (unless otherwise specified as open source) are the intellectual property of the RepoLocker team.
5. Limitation of Liability
RepoLocker is provided "AS IS" without any warranties. We are not liable for any data loss, security breaches resulting from weak user passwords, or system downtime. Because encryption is performed locally, we have no control over the integrity of your files on your machine.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at our discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
