Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 27, 2026

1. Introduction

At RepoLocker, we believe that privacy is a fundamental human right. Our mission is to provide military-grade encryption tools while ensuring that your data remains exclusively yours. This policy explains how we handle information in our Zero-Knowledge architecture.

2. Zero-Knowledge Architecture

RepoLocker is built on a Zero-Knowledge foundation. This means:

  • We do not have access to your encryption passwords.
  • Your files are encrypted locally on your machine before they are pushed anywhere.
  • We cannot decrypt your data, even if compelled by legal process.

3. Data Collection

A. Authentication Data

When you create an account, we store your email address and profile information securely using Supabase Auth. This is used solely to provide access to your private vault.

B. Encryption Metadata

We store encrypted versions of your folder passwords in your private vault (Supabase Vault). These are encrypted with your master password—which we never see.

4. Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of trusted partners to provide our services:

  • Supabase: For authentication and secure vault storage.
  • Vercel: For hosting and deployment.
  • Adsterra: For non-intrusive monetization that supports our free tier.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to export or delete your data at any time. Because we use Zero-Knowledge encryption, deleting your account is permanent and we cannot recover any vaulted passwords after deletion.
